Objectives and competences

Basic Competences

(Annex & section 3.3 of the Royal Decree 861/2010)

  • B06 Possess knowledge and understanding to provide a basis or opportunity to be original when developing and/or applying ideas, often in a research context.
  • B07 Students should know how to apply knowledge and have the ability to solve problems in new or unfamiliar broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their field of study.
  • B08 Students must be able to incorporate knowledge and handle the complexity of forming opinions based on information that despite being incomplete or limited, includes reflections about social and ethic responsibilities bound to the implementation of their understanding and opinion.
  • B09 Students must be able to communicate their conclusions – and understanding and reasoning that supports them, to specialist public and non-specialist in a clear and unambiguous manner.
  • B10 Students must have the necessary learning skills that enable them to continue their education in a largely self-directed and autonomous way.

 

General Competences

Specific Competences

  • CE1 Identify and apply the legal and jurisprudential sources to the adequate protection of the consumer in commercial transactions conducted in a virtual environment.
  • CE2 Design and evaluate action strategies in the area of taxation for optimal tax consultancy in a complex, changing and global environment.
  • CE3 Characterize and optimize the decision making process of the consumer in the digital market.
  • CE4 Predict and evaluate new development areas of the digital market and the collaborative economy.
  • CE5 Recognise and assess the macroeconomic characteristics and perspectives related with the digital market.
  • CE6 Implement web resources to use them strategically in the digital market.
  • CE7 Distinguish and assess the different types of digital platforms and businesses.
  • CE8 Identify, plan and manage the impact of the technological changes in the constitution and functioning of a society.
  • CE9 Apply concepts of microeconomic for the analysis and assessment of regulatory issues related to the challenges of the digital economy.
  • CE10 Create and run a business attending and responding to the changes of the environment where it operates.
